Dash Team Associate

Calgary Full Time

Overview:


The Dash Team Associate at DoorDash assists in managing the entire supply side of the business for their region. This is an intense, business-side startup role that has a clear and direct impact on DoorDash's success in a market. Since you'll be responsible for helping to manage, grow, and lead our entire fleet of dashers in Calgary, you'll have to be smart, self-motivated, and feel comfortable operating independently to excel in this role. We're looking for superstars that like to move fast, get things done, and are excited by the idea of growing & leading a team of people to make whatever they need happen. What you'll do:


Run onboarding and information sessions for new drivers
Manage the driver acquisition funnel and find ways to optimize our onboarding process
Partner with our Delight Crew to resolve in-person and over email driver support issues
Plan, track, and disburse equipment to the dasher fleet
Work with our Operations team to streamline procedures and improve the way we do things
Depending on performance, there may be opportunities to expand this role into restaurant-related activities.

Scheduling and Compensation
You will work directly with the managers in Calgary to set your schedule, however here is a rough idea of scheduling requirements
Time commitment ranging from 20 to 40 hours per week (its up to you)
Shifts will include both weekdays and weekends, mostly during the afternoon
Compensation is set at $18/hr and paid weekly via direct deposit
Meals are included! (we are a food delivery company)

What you'll need to have:
A strong work ethic, persistence, and drive -- you'll have to be dedicated and resourceful to achieve your goals
Exceptional organizational skills -- if you tend to leave tasks half-finished, this role isn't for you
Outstanding people skills -- depending on the conversation, you'll need to be able to charm or cajole the people you talk to
Owner mentality -- you can't remember the last time you said "that's not my problem"
A high attention to detail -- you often find yourself getting obsessed by the little things that other people say don't matter
Analytical skills - proficient with excel
A desire to own and excel at what you do, and a passion for helping & empowering others

Requirements:

A well-functioning laptop
Tech-Savviness
Able to work from our office in Kensington
