Ulula is a social enterprise that provides software and analytics that enable organizations better manage risks of human rights violations in global supply chains. Leveraging affordable and accessible information communication technologies (ICTs), such as mobile phones and social media, Ulula enables organizations deploy a set of proven survey instruments to monitor working conditions and risks of modern day slavery, facilitate ongoing dialogue with workers for improved productivity, and create reliable performance metrics for brands, suppliers or governments dedicated to ending forced labour and improving worker well-being in global supply chains.
Ulula is currently seeking a new team member to fill the role of Sales Strategist to develop and implement innovative approaches for successful business development and increased conversion of client leads.
We are seeking for a motivated self-starter to help execute and refine our go-to market strategy and accelerate our sales process and conversions. The Sales Strategist will be in charge of systematizing our sales cycles, targeting client leads, and continuously codifying our lessons to help Ulula reach its growth targets. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in implementing a structured pipeline and optimizing implementation processes for successful client generation.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Identifying, qualifying, researching and contacting client leads;
- Building relationships with potential clients and decision makers;
- Leading introductory calls and demos with prospective customers;
- Supporting proposals and initial client onboarding;
- Streamlining and optimizing our sales processes and accountability;
- Codifying learnings for iteration and optimization of our sales strategy.
The candidate should have excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and resourcefully with great enthusiasm to grow into the role and take leadership. While this opportunity is an initial 6-month contract, we are looking to bring on board a team member with the mindset to grow within the company in the long run. We give preference to candidates with previous experience in driving sales in an innovative company setting (1-3 years). Candidates with degrees in Finance, Business Administration and Economics are highly encouraged to apply.This position is partially funded by the MaRS Business Acceleration Program – Embark, which requires that the candidate is 29 years of age or younger.
