Loom Analytics, a Toronto legal tech start-up, is seeking an experienced full-time sales specialist to jumpstart our market debut. We're looking for someone who can transform the excitement our software-as-a-service product has generated in the Canadian legal community into revenue generation.
This full-time position is funded through a MaRS Business Acceleration Program - Embark Grant, and as a condition of the grant, is only open to candidates aged 22 to 29.
Position duration: 6-month contract (with an option to extend)
Salary: $45,000/year (i.e. $22,500 for six-month contract)
Start Date: March 31st, 2017.
Description of Role
Reporting to and working directly with the founder and president of the company, you'll be responsible for every step of the sales process for the innovative digital legal research tool we've created. Your target market segment will include Big-Law, making direct sales, and you will also use channel sales strategies to close deals with bar associations who want to offer our product to their members. You will scout out leads through market research, cold calls and networking; cultivate those leads, following up on enquiries and free trial registrations and conducting webinar pilots; and convert leads into successes.
Our perfect candidate will have a minimum of one to two years' experience in software sales, preferably to clients in the legal and insurance industries, and familiarity with Salesforce. If this description sounds like a match for your talents and ambition, we'd love to hear from you.
