PagerDuty, a 80 person startup based in San Francisco but we also have an office in Toronto, Canada. We are growing rapidly and looking for a Technical Recruiter to help out in our Toronto office.
Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition, you should consider yourself an expert full cycle technical recruiter who enjoys the job and is happy to stay in the same role for the foreseeable future. You will ideally have worked in house with a tech-centric software/web/startup company, (but experience solely with a technical recruitment agency will not necessarily disqualify a good candidate from consideration.)
You must possess a relentless ability to produce a consistently high daily volume of reach-outs to targeted, qualified candidates. You will be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of technical terminology and technical fundamentals, languages, tools, frameworks, operating systems, databases, web engineering, distributed systems, scalability, architecture, networks etc..
You should have excellent organizational and calendaring skills to create a solid long term pipeline and network of candidates to source and stay in touch with on a regular basis. You will also be in charge of the recruiting process from start to finish. Experience interviewing candidates over the phone and in person is a must. You will have an extrovert, friendly but professional manner and be a person candidates/software engineers enjoy interacting with - a solid long term relationship builder. You must be goal driven and be happy to have targets set on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
